In “Jungle Jeopardy!”, Batman and Robin are lured into a bizarre trap by Mr. Esper, alias “Brainwash,” who is working for Gotham’s gang‑lords.

  • Mr. Esper arranges a bank robbery so he can plant a subliminal image‑inducer beneath the Batmobile.

  • After the crime, Batman and Robin return to the Batcave — only to find the cave transformed (in their perception) into an African jungle full of wild animals. The illusion carries over when they go back to Wayne Manor.

  • Batman’s detective instincts alert him: he notes inconsistencies (for example, an African elephant and an Asian tiger appearing together) and realizes something is off.

  • They manage to uncover Mr. Esper’s scheme, disable the subliminal inducer (using earplugs to block the signals), and foil the vault‐raid of the Gotham National Bank, capturing Esper and his gang.
