Daredevil #40 (1968) Marvel Comics

Matt Murdock (as Daredevil) continues his fight against the Unholy Three (Cat‑Man, Bird‑Man & Ape‑Man), who are kidnapping and banishing people—including his former love interest Deborah Harris—into a strange alternate dimension using their device, the T‑Ray. Daredevil pursues them, but during a bank robbery confrontation, Ape‑Man fires the T‑Ray on him. The blast sends Daredevil into this limbo realm, separating him from Deborah and the others. 

Meanwhile, back on Earth, his friends Foggy Nelson and Karen Page scramble both to find Deborah (who has vanished) and to research the mysterious “Organizer,” the Unholy Three’s employer. Foggy digs into the Organizer’s past, finding links to a scientist who disappeared previously. Meanwhile, in the limbo/dimension “nowhere,” Daredevil is left alone as the other victims return to Earth, leaving him behind—raising the question of whether he’s been hit harder than them, and whether he might be trapped permanently.
