"Brother, Take My Hand"

In this issue, Matt Murdock (Daredevil) visits American soldiers in Vietnam to entertain the troops. While there, he meets Willie Lincoln, a blind African American soldier who has recently lost his sight due to a combat wound. Willie shares his story with Matt, and upon returning to New York, he seeks legal assistance from Matt's law office to fight a bribery charge that occurred before he went into service.

The mob boss who orchestrated the bribery scheme decides to eliminate Willie to prevent him from testifying. Daredevil intervenes, protecting Willie and ensuring that justice is served. This issue is notable for its sensitive portrayal of a disabled veteran and is considered one of Stan Lee's favorite stories from his career.
