• A tale of a castaway: The central narrative features Don Winslow investigating a mysterious castaway found floating at sea. The man turns out to be part of a Nazi plot to lure the Coast Guard into a trap.
• Marines in danger: The issue also contains a story where captured Marines debate if the comic-book version of Don Winslow is a real person and whether he can save them.
• Puzzle and bonus features: Like many comics of the era, this issue contained several bonus features, such as a "Don Winslows Crossword Puzzle" and a public service announcement (PSA) related to the Navy.
