Giant-Sized Iron Man #1 (1975) Marvel Comics

The lead reprinted story is “The New Iron Man Meets the Angel!” from Tales of Suspense #49. In it, Iron Man (Tony Stark) attempts to protect the Angel (from the X‑Men) during an atomic bomb test at one of Stark’s plants. The Angel, caught in the blast, becomes mentally corrupted and nearly joins the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Iron Man struggles to reason with him and eventually rescues him in a daring aerial confrontation. 

The issue also includes reprints of “Hawkeye, the Marksman!” (Tales of Suspense #57)—the first appearance of Hawkeye with some Black Widow involvement—and “In Mortal Combat with Captain America!” (Tales of Suspense #58).
