Contents & Plot Highlights:

  • Main Feature (“Red Ryder”): In the lead story, Red Ryder has just been paid for some cattle. On his way home, he is ambushed and robbed by a gambler (“tinhorn”) and a woman. Red Ryder manages to send his horse off to fetch help. 

  • Little Beaver Story: A short strip where Little Beaver is bragging, and then ends up catching a burro.

  • “King of the Royal Mounties; Telecomics” (Adventure / Humor): Involves characters Janie, Slatsy, King, Kid, Doc Jay, and a villain. There’s intrigue: Doc Jay fears his partner may kill him, and seeks protection from King. The story is a serialized element (“To be continued…”). 

  • Text Story – “Little Beaver’s Prospect Hunch”: Little Beaver accompanies Red Ryder to Crow Mesa to hunt gold to help save the ranch. Along the way, they rescue an old prospector from betrayal. They also recover gold and a burro.

  • “The Kiyotee Kids”: A children‑oriented adventure: three boys—Ted Lucas, Billy Haines, Andy Packer—return to claim land, hear Sandy (a girl) may have headed out. Villains abduct Sandy, plan to burn her out; the boys stage a rescue.
