The Mighty Avengers #67 - Marvel Comics

The issue opens with Ultron‑6 having just been resurrected in Avengers Mansion (thanks to the machinations of Vision, who connected Ultron’s earlier head to the Mansion’s systems). Ultron is upgraded now: his new body is made of adamantium, making him far more durable and deadly than before.

With this new form, Ultron immediately goes on the offensive, launching an attack that threatens all of New York. He sets off a chain reaction via nuclear devices and almost triggers a catastrophic explosion capable of destroying the city. The Avengers mobilize—Thor, Iron Man, Black Panther, the Wasp, Goliath, Yellowjacket, and Vision all attempt to stop him. 

Despite their efforts, Ultron proves overwhelming. Vision, feeling guilty for his role, confronts him but is quickly outmatched. Ultron escapes, leaving the Avengers with city‑wide devastation as a looming threat. The issue ends on that dark note, with Ultron as an even greater menace than before.
