In Wyatt Earp #11, Wyatt Earp confronts a hardened outlaw gang in the story “The Vegas Gang’s Last Ride!”. When this band of criminals terrorizes nearby settlements—robbing stagecoaches, rustling cattle, and spreading fear—Wyatt rides in to bring them to justice. The issue also features two backup tales: “Mountain Lion”, in which Wyatt must protect settlers from a menacing mountain lion while dealing with the isolation and danger of frontier life; and “Don’t Make Me Draw!”, in which a dispute over honor escalates until Wyatt is forced to intervene—with the implication that sometimes the mere threat of his gun is what it takes to maintain peace.
